Taking “Grow Holyoke” to Heart! Local property management company aims to grow Holyoke one building at a time. It has been two years since Witman Properties moved its headquarters to the City of Holyoke.
A lot has changed in those two years - Owner Anthony Witman has taken the “Grow Holyoke” mantra to heart. He’s been literally growing his team and presence at the new location. Witman, in partnership with Mass Development, has also made a commitment to the city’s economic future by taking on ambitious new development projects, including the iconic Hotel Jess at 335-337 Dwight Street, a nine-unit townhouse-style apartment block at 5-9 Hampshire Street, and a storied inn and tavern at 126 High Street called The Unicorn Inn. The image of a unicorn serving as metaphor for the city’s unique character is not lost on Witman. He strongly believes these projects are essential pieces of a larger puzzle to the city’s cultural and economic vitality.
